Did you ever look at a baby crawling for the first time?
It’s amazing how persistent they are.
When they eventually learn to stand they waddle around for a bit.
Only to fall back down again
They have a giggle.
A go and a ga.
Then they start crawling again.
They grab onto your hair or face to help them stand.
Then they walk a few steps with absolutely no control.
They can fall any second.
But…
Guess what?
They still keep going, they don’t care.
Babies are brave little fuckers.
Us adults could learn a lot from them.
They literally have no fear of failure or judgment from others.

We were all babies once.
This means we were all fearless as a bambino.
We all had unlimited potential at one stage in our lives.
Something happens to us though at some point.
Doesn’t take much either does it?
A “harmless” comment or joke.
Or for a poor few souls.
An abusive relationship.
It brings us down either way.
It turns the scalding tap of potential from hot to cold.
This something closed us off and made us fearful.
Unfortunately we cannot go back.
You cannot change the past.
You can only change now.
