Kids are exhaustingly great to be around.
I know I’m running a summer camp right now for a few kids.
It’s only day two and I’m shattered.
Kids are also physically unable to hide their disappointment with you.
Just promise them something and forget to get it for them.
You will see what I mean.
Oh and they will never let you forget it either.
But then again
They change their minds every 2 seconds.
So they will probably want something else by then.
I digress….
If you want the truth about how you look.
Just ask a kid.
They will give it to you straight no bullshit.
No ill intentions in their little head either.
They just give you the God honest truth.
Whether you like it or not princess
For example;
I teach over 50 kids kickboxing every week.
This one time when I was teaching my kids kickboxing class;
(I was at my heaviest by the way)
One of my students pointed out to me (so nicely)<———-
He just came out with it I might add….
So little Johnny said….
That teacher (me) “had a big belly and it was sticking out”
Holy fuck I thought to myself.
The grasshopper was right.
I looked like kung fu panda.
Look at the fucking state of me.
They are great at shocking and amazing me with the things that they say.
This one was new though however.
It did get me thinking though.
It was a factor in me getting my shit together.
It was nothing personal with little Johnny.
He just thought he needed to point out that my gut had grown.
So next time you believe your own bullshit about your health.
Next time you have to staple gun yourself into a dress.
Next time you’re wondering if you look fat in that dress love.
For fuck sake don’t ask your husband, he’s terrified of telling you how you look.
He wants to have sex again this side of Christmas you see.
Just ask….
